Value Stream Leader (Production Manager)
Responsible for overall management of a manufacturing cell, focused factory, or work center. Overall responsibility for leading manufacturing team in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals. Coordinates with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements. Drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Leverages resources and motivates personnel to create high performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
· Champion a culture change through the framework of High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs).
· Drive continuous improvement and application through the use of EBS, BOS, CIF, and HPWTs.
· Champion implementation of Lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities of key processes.
· Achieve key BOS metrics including TRCR, Productive Utilization, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield and DPPM.
· Effective management of plant assets through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources.
· Champion implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures.
· Train and develop team members as well as providing oversight and coaching to other team members.

Specialized Skills/Knowledge :
Specialized Skills/Knowledge :
· Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic, Lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence skills in 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, process focused
· Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management
· Thorough Understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes
· Knowledge of financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions of operational changes
· Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams
Basic Qualifications :
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
· Minimum 5 years of related professional and Managerial experience
· Proficient in reading & Writing English
Materials Planner
The key responsibilities of this position include the following :
· You will ensure monthly sales target are met per backlog and responsible on Customer Delivery Performance.
· You will receive customers’ orders, manage order entry into ERP system and ensure entry accuracy.
· You will review finished goods, materials on hand, liaise with suppliers on new purchase delivery dates and check capacity before making commitment to customers.
· You will establish Monthly Shipment Plan based on Firm Backlog from customers and use it to plan work orders schedule.
· You will provide Notice of Shipment to Production and Logistics to ensure timely shipment.
· You will communicate customer order requirement and/or priority changes, as appropriate, to all stakeholders.
· You will plan and purchase direct materials to support on-time customer delivery and ensure no purchased parts past-due resulting materials stock out situation.
· You will issue Purchase Order from ERP system attached with MRP generated demands as purchase justification.
· You will monitor suppliers’ delivery and work with suppliers on supplier delivery and quality issue.
· You will review MRP Action Messages daily and weekly and carry out appropriate action or comment if no action is required.
· You will ensure planning data accuracy in ERP system – Planner/Buyer Code, Product Class/Group, Lead Time, etc.
· You will plan and release Work Orders to support Master Shipment Plan and work with Production to meet On-Time Delivery.
· You will monitor work orders progress and drive production to close out past due work orders to support on-time delivery.
· You will provide Inventory Forecast for assigned products.
· You will review and identify inventory optimization opportunity, and carry out appropriate action to control inventory to meet inventory target.
The requirements for this position are :
· Experience in customer orders fulfillment, planning and buying in a manufacturing environment.
· Possess inventory management experience.
· Possess the ability to communicate well with both local and international colleagues and suppliers. Ability to speak and write reasonably good English.
· Proficient with Basic Microsoft Excel, Words, Power Point, etc.
· Possess working experience with MRP/ERP system.
